We strongly recommend enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). 2FA adds an additional layer of security to your account.

2FA is more secure because it requires two sources of verification: something you know (your password) and something you have (the code you generate or receive on your device). It’s much harder for attackers to gain access to both of these, and it can help protect you in case an attacker learns your password.

How It Works

You’ll be prompted for your 2FA code every time you log in. You’ll copy your 2FA code from an authentication app back to the Titan app.

Keep in mind that closing the Titan app alone won’t log you out of the app -- so you typically won’t be prompted for your 2FA code when you open it from your home screen.

How to Enable 2FA

Using an Authentication App

First, you’ll need to download an authentication app - we support all major third-party apps. Here are a few we support:

Next, enable 2FA in your Titan app:

  1. Go to investors.titanvest.com and log in using your email address and Titan password

  2. Click on the Settings button in the top navigation bar

  3. Click the Two-Factor Authentication toggle

  4. Scan the QR code shown on the screen using one of the authentication apps mentioned above, on your smart phone

  5. Once you've added the QR code to your authentication app, enter the generated 6-digit verification code and click Submit

  6. You will receive a pop-up prompt confirming you have added 2FA to your Titan accounts

To protect your accounts, you will be automatically logged out of Titan on all your devices. Upon your next login, you'll be prompted to enter a generated 6-digit verification code from your authentication app, just like you did in Step 5.

Logging In

Using an Authentication App

After you enter your email and password, you’ll be prompted for a verification code. Open your authentication app and copy the code it creates for Titan. Paste the code in the Titan app to finish signing in.

Keep in mind that timing is important with authentication apps. You’ll typically have about a minute from the time your authentication app creates the code to paste it into Titan. But don't worry if you miss entering the code just wait a few seconds and a new one will be automatically generated by your authentication app and you can try again.
